Inez Willey Gardner
Inez Willey Gardner, 87, of Weldon, died on Monday, February 4, 2019.
Inez, a native of Halifax County, was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Agnes Lewis Willey. She was retired from Halifax County Department of Social Services. She was, also, a member of All Saints' Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Julian Gardner; her sons, Boyd Gardner and his wife, Kathy, of Tarboro, and David Gardner and his wife, Melanie, of Fuquay Varina; three grandchildren, Lindsey Cannady, Case Gardner and Sherry Gardner; two great-grandchildren, Luke and Chloe Cannady; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Linda Acree.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 12 noon at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Fred Eichner officiating.
Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
